Avalanche Training • AST 1 • Sled Ski / Snowboard

Details

If you are anything like us and you want to get the best of both worlds by sled skiing / snowboarding we have created this avalanche course for you!

During this Avalanche Skills Training Level 1 (AST 1) course we will be traveling on sleds while discussing and comparing the differences of accessing and managing terrain on skis / snowboards.

The AST 1 Sled Ski / Snowboard course will set you up with the knowledge & skill set to start exploring the mountains both on your sleds and two planks or one.

With the AST 1 – Sled / Ski – Snowboard course you will gain access to both our AST 1 sled and AST 1 – Ski / Snowboard online course allowing you to learn and compare terrain travel and management techniques.

This allows you to take the in-class portion of the AST 1 from the comfort of your home and join us for a field day whenever it works best for you!

Women's Specific AST 1 courses

Stay Wild offers exclusive women’s-only avalanche training classes in addition to our co-ed course. As a female-led company, our instructors have been the only gal in the shred crew or avy safety course way too often.

While we love the men that come out for our co-ed camps & our two lovely token instructors, there’s something magical about like-minded ladies learning together and having a killer day on the mountain.

When booking you will see the option / dates for our women’s specific courses.
