We highly encourage our students to rent backcountry gear before purchasing. It gives you an opportunity to try out different brands before dropping a bunch of dough on something you don’t end up loving down the road.

We love our students & that’s why they get priority over our avalanche safety rental gear. If you are interested in renting & not taking a course with us please reach out to see if we have availability.
Students can add an Avalanche Safety rental package to their order when booking a course with us.

When adding a rental package to your course the instructor will bring your rental on the field day. It works well to bring your lunch & layers in a bag & then you can transfer items to the rental backpack in the morning.
$40 per day
Please note that you are responsible for any damage to our equipment. A deposit will be held on your credit card until equipment is inspected by staff. A completed rental agreement along with a waiver will be required prior to renting.
14+ days before your rental date
If you cancel your gear rental you will receive a refund minus $10 processing fee if cancelled 14+ days before the start date of your rental.

If cancelled within 14 days of the date of your rental you will not receive a refund unless your rental can be booked by someone else.
